Introduction

25 years ago, there was no Google. 20 years ago, there was no Facebook. 3 years ago, there was no A.I. I know what you are saying. There was no Gen AI. Technological innovation and artificial intelligence will accelerate at a pace we have yet to comprehend fully. AI automates a few jobs and creates relatively new jobs. We must deal with uncertainty to get those new jobs and compete with people with those new skills. Deal with new learning. Is this happening only one time? No. Change is constant. In the coming decades, we must reinvent ourselves and change our jobs. We will experience even larger changes in 2035 and 2045, requiring people to readjust continually.

The most difficult challenge in changing your mindset is psychological. It requires a great deal of mental flexibility to endure these changes and challenges. It's easy to adapt to change at a young age, but as you get older, these changes can be stressful.

The only way to develop a flexible or possibility mindset is to learn, meditate, and make it a consistent habit.

The most important investment is building this more flexible mind or personality.

The 21-day challenge is created to help reprogram your mindset for success.

Why 21 days?

The common belief that it takes 21 days to form a new habit stems from a book by Maxwell Maltz. Still, research indicates that it takes around 66 days on average for a behavior to become a habit, varying widely based on the behavior and the individual. A study in the Journal of Behavioral Medicine suggests an average of 18 days for a new behavior to become automatic, with significant variation from 5 to 254 days based on factors like behavior complexity, repetition frequency, and individual motivation and ability to change.

Motivation, repetition, behavior complexity, and mindset are key factors influencing the formation of new habits.

So, with varying degrees of numbers, I chose the common belief of 21 days and created a planner aligned with my 21-day challenge.

My goal is to create a possibility and growth mindset and develop new habits for you.

The process

The process is very simple. I will invest more than 20 hours directly with you, more hours than that, to provide information through research and collect other information needed on a case-by-case basis. Our 21 days involve

  1. Wake up at 5 AM (in your time zone). No excuses. Ask me why 5 AM.

  2. Meditate. We will practice Mindful Meditation. We will start with 10 min. No limit to 10 min. You are encouraged to do more and many times in a day.

  3. Book Reading

  4. I will be taking 21 45-minute sessions on “Growth Mindset” daily (per schedule in your time zone).

  5. 15-minute Q&A session.

Schedule

Every day, I talk about meditation and briefly summarize the book we read for 10 minutes. A more detailed daily plan will be published soon. Every day, we practice on our planner.

Week 1: (Jun 17th week)

This week, we will cover understanding mindsets, including growth and fixed mindsets. We'll also discuss the importance of self-reflection, how to practice it, and how to approach and overcome challenges. Additionally, we'll delve into the concept of the drama triangle, how to separate memory and emotion, and the idea of inspiration. We will review these topics at the end of the week.

Week 2: (Jun 24th week)

Let's delve deeper into the Growth Mindset concept. Why and how does one develop a growth mindset? We need to understand the importance of learning anything and why we focus on outcomes. We need to explore how to focus on the process. This is a significant topic, and grasping it is essential. I will take it slow and ensure everyone understands this. Yes, we will review Week 2 at the end of this week.

Week 3: (Jul 1st week)

During this final week, we will discuss how to apply what we have learned to practical aspects of learning, career development, and lifelong learning. We will cover topics such as visualizations and affirmations, which are both important and may be complex. We will take our time to ensure everyone understands. Additionally, we will review the material from the past three weeks and discuss what comes next.
